I can’t count how many times I have been to Two Lizards - both lunch and dinner. Every time the food is delicious, and the service is prompt and always with a smile. The prices are appropriate for a Mexican restaurant in NYC and the UES. Even tonight as I sit here near closing with this amazing elote, rain pouring down, and empty restaurant, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. One of the best Mexican restaurants in the city!

Very cute and cozy restaurant. Love the fact that they put the cute little lizards in the drinks. Strawberry margarita was delicious. I’ve explored plenty of Mexican restaurants and this is by far the best!! I got the shrimp fajitas and I usually don’t eat all the veggies or barely any of them, but for this place I had to!! Great food, the most authentic Mexican flavor, The best music to set just the right tone and ambiance,and the freshest guacamole made right at your table! Very accommodating and friendly staff . Two of the wait persons in particular their names are Denise & Gianni had waited on us only a couple of times before knowing instinctively our taste preferences for food and drinks! We feel like royalty everytime he waits on our table. My husband and I love eating out here and bringing our friends along every chance we get . We highly recommend TWO LIZARDS MEXICAN BAR AND GRILL giving them a BIG 5 STARZ!!!

The happy hour specials are great here. The guacamole is so fresh, they actually make it right in front of you. It's a little small, but great service and very clean. Most importantly, the margaritas here are actually made and not from a mix.

The food is very good. But today we went and the service was horrible. We had to wave down a server and ask for everything we needed (chips, water, a straw, a plate). They even brought my fajitas with no plate, said they would bring a plate and I had to ask for a plate twice more. Tough to build and eat a fajita over a napkin. There were only about 10 people in the place at the time. They also say they don't take credit cards and there is an ATM in the place. I think that's a scam. Not what it used to be.
