The servers use to be good here but a couple of Sunday morning ago I went for breakfast and what a disaster. The guy was not ready for prime time and displayed very little restaurant experience. I hope he wasn’t your night manager/waiter. It is my hope he was a fill in for the shift resulting in using a bus person to run the restaurant. Please call back some of the crew from the old days when this was an enjoyable establishment for early morning dining.

Du-Pars is an iconic LA restaurant I first learned about as an occasional late night stop for Detective Harry Bosch in the murder mystery series by Michael Connelly. We've been several times now, almost always getting some of the pancakes. This is the short stack. Very good and I'm not the biggest pancake fan to begin with... wish they had waffles with that batter. They have great pie for dessert. My wife enjoyed the breaded zucchini tonight. Always very friendly staff!

Don't eat here if you're pressed for time. Food is good but pricey. We waited over 40 minutes to get one order of pancakes. Server forget to bring us cream and sugar for coffee. We ended up having to pay for parking due to their lack of service. Sorry DuPars... Your tip went to pay for parking.
